JournalTOCs is the biggest collection of Tables of Contents (TOCs) of scholarly journals, including nearly 1000 international law journals. It is a free current awareness service that alerts you when new issues of your ‘followed journals’ are published.

RSS
JournalTOCs enables you to receive TOCs of newly published journal issues via RSS:
Subscribe to a specific journal using the RSS icon
Create a collection of RSS feeds of all journals that you are following (OPML file). You can do this by selecting journals and then click on Save & Export in the list of 'Journals you follow'.

Do you use Outlook for your mail? It is also an RSS reader. Find out how to add an RSS feed or import a collection of feeds on the Outlook help page.

More information about RSS and other feed readers is available on the library’s website.

Email notification
Alternatively, you can receive notification of new journal issues by email. In order to receive email alerts it is necessary to sign up for a (free) account.

Other alert services
Although JournalTOCs covers thousands of journals it does not contain every law journal. Is the journal you’re looking for not available? Try other databases that offer a similar service, for instance HeinOnline eTOC alerts, or the website of individual journals. Refer to the Law Library’s website for more international or Dutch alert services.
