The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) has launched new versions of its popular tools linked to the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights: the Charterpedia and the Case law Database.
The new-look Charterpedia, now fully integrated into the FRA website, is an online tool which provides easy-to-access information about the fundamental rights framework in the EU. It includes the full text and legal explanations of the charter articles, related EU and national case law, and related FRA publications.
Charterpedia is also available as an app on the Apple App Store and Google Play. A new version of the app was released at the end of last summer.
The second tool, the Case law Database, is a compilation of case law with direct references to the charter from the Court of Justice of the EU, the European Court of Human Rights and from national courts.
