The Law Library now provides access to the online edition of the Encyclopedia of Private International Law. This comprehensive reference work contains almost 250 entries on private international law topics as well as an overview of relevant legislation and jurisprudence in 80 countries.
The Encyclopedia consists of three inter-linked pillars:
- Coverage of private international law topics in 247 alphabetically arranged entries;
- Overviews of the private international law regimes of 80 countries;
- English language translations of the national codifications and private international law provisions in those countries.
Entries open by default as 'Flowing Text' which means that cross-references are linked so you can click through to other parts of the encyclopedia. Additionally, the literature list at the end of an entry contains direct links to Google Scholar (NB: results may vary).
Use the tab 'Original Pages' to read the text as published in the print edition. It is also possible to download a PDF file.
