Are you looking for newspaper articles?
Nexis Uni provides access to a large number of Dutch and international newspapers. This new database replaces LexisNexis Academic.

Available sources
Nexis Uni contains thousands of newspapers as well as professional magazines. For a complete overview, click on Menu in the top left corner and select All Sources. The date range and update schedule varies per source. Most newspapers are available starting from the 1990s. Click on the i-icon next to a source title for specifics.

Find a specific publication or article
Under the heading Guided Search on the home page, select A Publication and enter the publication name under Find publication. Make sure to select the publication from the drop-down menu that appears. To find a specific article, fill in some keywords under Search for something specific.

Find articles on a specific topic
It is also possible to search all available sources for articles on a particular topic. To do this, select News under Guided Search and enter relevant keywords. If desired, you can also choose a date range. Refine your search results by entering additional keywords or using the filters in the menu on the left-hand side of the page.

Text-only
Note that Nexis Uni provides access to text-only versions of articles; images are not included. Some publications offer PDFs of the original article as published in the paper or magazine. If available, there will be a link below the article referring to the original page number.

Extra features
Nexis Uni is accessible without a personal account. However, it offers some extra features if you do create a profile. After signing in, you will be able to:

  • save documents, add annotations, and share documents with others;
  • save and share searches;
