Since 2010 the European Court of Human Rights publishes factsheets online.
The aim of these factsheets is to increase the effectiveness of the Convention system, and to make the Court's case-law widely known.
The factsheets contain summaries of judgments, decisions and pending cases about specific themes. Factsheets on Hate speech (PDF), Protection of journalistic sourcesย (PDF) and Gender equality (PDF) are examples on such specific themes.
The factsheets are suitable as 'information sheet' for practitioners, academics, students and press, and they are available in a range of languages.
